Getting Started

Simply open your MatriMoney account at our Hampton office (Both the bride and groom-to-be must be present).* We'll provide you with a starter pack including registry cards to insert into your invitations.** Our registry cards are simple and elegant to match any theme.

How Your Guests Can Give
On the registry cards, there are simple instructions so your family and friends know how your HRECU MatriMoney account works. They can give by mailing their gift in, calling or stopping by our Hampton office.

Accessing Your Account
You can conveniently track your gift deposits via online banking, SMARTS or visiting our Hampton office. Your funds will become available the first business day following your wedding.

HRECU will not be responsible for tracking deposits made to the account.
* A $100 deposit is required upon opening the account.
** If an account is opened less than 90 days prior to the wedding date, we cannot guarantee that the cards will be available.

  1. How will our guests know we have a MatriMoney account?
    You will receive "We're Registered" cards to include with your invitations.*
  2. How will we know if a guest gave us money as a wedding gift?
    A note that will be visible via online banking and your statement will be added to include the guest/giver's name to help you compile your thank you list.
